# Introduction

Gib Sol is a fundraising platform powered by Solana, with the purpose of empowering creators, communities and innovators to launch decentralized fundraising campaigns faster, cheaper, and fully on-chain.

Unlike traditional platforms that rely on centralized intermediaries, Gib Sol operates entirely on Solana’s high-throughput blockchain—meaning every donation is transparent, immutable, and instantly verifiable. No delays, no complex KYC procedures, no trust required.
